Gordon Lakes is a 27-hole golf facility. The original 18 holes were designed and built in 1976 by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
The course is a championship layout and has hosted the All Armed Forces Championship and the All Army Golf Trials. The facility has three 9-hole tracts, the Pine View 9, Island View 9, and the Lake 9. This allows the course to be played in 3 different 18 hole combinations.
In 2001, the golf club opened it’s newest 9, Pine View, designed by world renowned Ault & Clark. The same design team closed the original front 9, Island View, in 2003 and totally renovated and modernized it. The Island side opened to rave reviews in the fall of 2004. The Lake 9, Lake View, has been renovated and reopened in the fall of 2006.

Staff was not friendly at all. Golf Course was in great shape. Too expensive.

The course is well planned and can be a bit challenging the slope varies between 130 and 136. I am retired military and walk nine every saturday. I have played several courses in the area and as long as you are not playing during masters week when the price is jacked up this is the best deal for the money.
